    v14vista eEmpACT & V14: The Visual Appeal
Get ready for a fresh, new look!

There are many changes in eEmpACT's new Version 14, and one you might notice at first glance is the new look and feel, whether you are using XP or Vista as your operating system. In version 14, screens will use the standard Windows colors and drawing styles (as specified by the user's selected theme and desktop setttings). One difference with Vista is that instead of using custom context sensitive colors to color the entire screen, a bar running down the left hand side of each screen will be used to display the custom color. The screenshot above shows eEmpACT 14 running on Vista.

The end result of Version 14's new look and feel is a system that follows Windows standards, but still allows for the “quick look” ability to tell what kind of screen the user is looking at. These new Context Sensitive Screen Color changes follow Windows XP and Vista guidelines and provide a user interface that is modern and in accordance with Microsoft standards.

But not to worry, the layouts and functionality of the screens have not changed – they will work as they always have – but with a slightly different look due to the context sensitive screen changes. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, eEmpACT is pleased to provide its users with the latest visual capabilities available with XP and Vista.
