Resume Generator
|
|
In last month's newsletter, we mentioned a new feature
that was being released in the latest build of eEmpACT 14.0, and that
feature is Resume Generator.
Front Office users can now create standard resumes based
off a system-wide template from the Resume Tab of the Employee Master.
We've heard from several eEmpACT users, and the response has been very
positive!
Dwight Dell from Spherion - Lima, was one of those
customers who let us know that the team in their offices like Resume Generator.
"We are very excited about
the new Resume Generator in eEmpACT. In fact, it has most of my
users jumping up and down! They just love it. No more
scanning, which in a Citrix environment could be challenging.
This feature is perfect for "soft" clients. It's easier to
generate the resume from the Employee Master, and we can control the
formatting as well as the content. Based on what our customers'
needs and the skills of the employee, we can show or take out skills,
past employers, etc."

Professional Services: Customize eEmpACT Software the
way you want it
|
|
Now that you've printed your W2's and filed your quarterly
taxes, what can you do? Why take some time to customize some
eEmpACT functions and reports the way you run your business?
eEmpACT staff members are often asked why the
reports in the Reporter have the information that they do, or why
certain screens don't capture specific information.
The answer is simple: as varied are the functions within
the eEmpACT Software, so too, are the ways that our business partners
run their companies. Many people track things
differently and want to see different information on screens and
reports. And we do our best to develop all aspects of the
software to meet the needs of the masses.
But there's great news! You can customize many parts
of the eEmpACT Software the way you want it. Let Professional
Services help you out. From putting a Supervisor's name on a
report or having that User Defined Field 2 show up on the Contact
Lookup Grid, most requests for your customization are possible!
The process is easy as well.
- Contact your
Account Manager and explain to them what you would like
customized. They will write up your request and submit it to
the Development Team.
- The Development
Team will return a quote of estimated time it will take them to
code your changes.
- Your Account
Manager will return a written quote estimate to you.
- Return the signed
quote along with a 50% deposit. Your item will be placed on
the Professional Services Development List, assigned a developer
and a delivery date will be communicated back to you.
- Upon delivery of
the project, the remaining amount of the project will be billed to
you.
- Sit back and enjoy
your customized eEmpACT and say to yourself, "Why didn't I do
this sooner?!?"
Start taking
advantage of customizing your eEmpACT Software the way you'd like it.

What
is one of the strangest things that has happened to you? "In 1987, a friend
and I flew into London, and I made her take the train (pre-Chunnel) to
Calais. We missed the last train to Paris, so I had to literally
sleep on the street while wearing a suit."
What
is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you? "When I was 17, I
was sitting in the front pew in church. Well, the chicken hot dog
I ate for lunch didn't agree with me, and I threw up in church.
The minister stopped his sermon, looked down at me and said, 'Is my
sermon that bad? I've made people angry from up here, but no one's ever
thrown up.' I never sit in the front row for anything anymore."

Name
one of your favorite things about someone in your family. " My mom keeps
things perspective for me. Often, I will complain to her about
something I find completely distressing and she'll laugh the entire
time I'm telling it. She always finds the humor in things and gets me
laughing too. I love that."
What
one person has influenced your life the most and why? "My boyfriend,
Geoff, reminds me to stay positive and patient. I've never heard him
say a bad word about anyone. He reminds me of the better person I'd
like to be. Awww..."
What

so, I'd like to one day have my own staffing service! I love the

time!)
Do
you go shopping when you are out on the road? "Yes, I
shop. I need to find a better hobby, I know! My favorite mall is

Gary

Mongolian BBQ restaurant.
