version14Tips and Tricks

Best Practice Can Save Headaches

To stay on top of your payroll and to prevent potential issues, it is highly recommended that you run the Payroll Diagnostic Report (PRDIAG) weekly, or at the very least, monthly.

Some of the issues that were called into Customer Support in January could have been resolved prior to running W2s.

PRDIAG examines payroll history and is designed to find potential problems.

As an additional tip, don't forget to save PRDIAG in your Favorites Folder!

Adding Years of Experience to Many Skills for Candidates/Employees

From the Employee Master, click on Options and go to Skills. You can add years of experience to the Many Skills, (Multiple white sheets of paper icon) and replace the forward slash (/) with "XY".

X represents the number of years and Y represents the word years. For example:

Spanish = K0327\

If you remove the \ and key 7y, you would have 7 years of experience speaking Spanish.
