    July 2006

    Tim small Greetings!

As emphasized in our eEmpACT marketing literature, the text states: “We don’t have to tell you that in your industry, standing still is the same as moving backward.” That statement, as simple as it may sound, has never been more true. Positive change, no matter how small, is what helps keep us competitive and actively pursuing new thoughts and ideas.

Most likely our long-time readers have noticed something different about the newsletter this month- a brand new look and feel! We hope you enjoy the articles and links to other helpful eEmpACT resources and opportunities. Another change for eEmpACT is the implementation of our SWAT Team to more efficiently make wish list items a reality to our customers. Just these two changes alone could affect the way you use eEmpACT- simply by learning about a new product or service!

From a customer standpoint, change can be incorporated into your staffing business on many levels; the very way you utilize your eEmpACT system might make or break securing that big new client you’ve been pursing. Highlighted in the newsletter this month, our Productivity Analysis Program is just another example of how changing the way you use eEmpACT could result in countless opportunities that make you more competitive, and put the competition at a standstill.

No matter what your change- a simple fresh newsletter format or an entire systems analysis- it all counts in the big picture to an ever-increasingly competitive staffing industry. eEmpACT looks forward to helping you make those changes along the way so you come out on top!

    SWAT Team
    Team players working for you!

Since February, eEmpACT employees from each sector of the company have met monthly to review and discuss customer and employee requests for products. Created for the primary reason of addressing Wish List items from customers, this service has proven to be an important aspect of eEmpACT's continuous customer support. The current team is comprised of representatives from various departments: Hugh Gilpatric from Account Management, Jennifer Palmer from Consulting Services, Mark Boge from Development, Reid Vosper from Sales and Mary Lou Frerich from Support. The SWAT Team meets to critically discuss and prioritize changes that affect you, the customer.

What have they been up to? Check out some of the recent changes thanks to eEmpACT's SWAT Team:

    • Added employee counts to each group in Report EXP054
    • When printing a birthday report, you can now specify that you only want actively working employees
    • Added week ending date to the check details list on the Employee Payroll Inquiry screen
    • Direct Deposit setup now defaults to a percentage instead of an amount
    • The “Add Multiple Skill” button (with the red plus) has been added to directed add screen
    • The “No wages recorded for state income tax” message is now suppressed if the employee only worked in states that have no income tax
    • The system will now prevent you from deleting an employee if they have a timecard sitting in a batch

Know of an issue you'd like to add to the Wish List? Just email the SWAT Team at wishlist@eempact.com. All customers who email an issue to the SWAT Team's Wish List will be contacted by their Account Manager when the issue has been added to the product.

    Clark Personnel Productivity Analysis Success
A program that speaks for itself...

Many customers have heard about the Productivity Analysis Program, but it might take more than just hearing to actually understand what the program does and why it benefits eEmpACT users. Instead of having us explain, we thought direct feedback from an actual eEmpACT customer that recently completed the four-day analysis would help other customers better relate and see the program through their own company’s eyes. Below you can learn how Clark Personnel Service gained important knowledge throughout the Productivity Analysis process.

    RE: eEmpACT Productivity Analysis

    To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this as notice of appreciation for such a job well done. Clark Personnel has benefited in many aspects by the productivity analysis that was offered by eEmpACT. The week spent with the Implementation Consultant, has in turn been very revenue producing for us. We feel that we have doubled productivity since the valuable one-on-one sessions. Things that were taking us hours to complete are now done in a fraction of the time due to the many advantages that eEmpACT offers in which we were oblivious to until the Analysis.

Again, I would like to iterate our gratitude for eEmpACT furnishing such a wonderful productivity package. We would recommend this program to anyone who would like to utilize eEmpACT to full capacity. We hope that many others will participate in the productivity analysis sessions and reap the benefits we have here at Clark Personnel. eEmpACT is a wonderful program in general, however when used to its entirety we have found it is superb!

    Regards,

    CLARK PERSONNEL, INC.

    Happy Anniversary!
eEmpACT celebrates two employee anniversaries this month

    Jennifer Palmer - July 22, 2002
Jennifer will celebrate her fourth year with eEmpACT on July 22. Jennifer began working in the Minneapolis office as a Software Trainer. Currently as the Director of Client Services, she enjoys the amount of travel her job requires. "This is the BEST company I've ever worked for and I've really enjoyed the various positions I've held that led me to my current role." She has developed many strong relationships with her clients during her travels and knows them better as friends. A Timberwolves fan at heart, she looks forward to her annual mission trip with her Sr. High youth group in the summer. As a major asset to eEmpACT's growing success, Jennifer has earned her keep! Congratulations Jennifer!

    Melissa Sauceda
    Melissa Sauceda - July 5, 2005
Melissa will celebrate her first anniversary on July 5. Joining the eEmpACT team as a Sales Territory Manager in the Atlanta office, Melissa says she has very much enjoyed becoming part of the eEmpACT family. Although she has only been a part of the team for one year, she has seen much change. "The number of employees has risen dramatically." But she enjoys it very much. "Seeing growth and change within a company is always exciting," Melissa explains. "And our customers are in a class of their own!" Congratulations Melissa! We're glad to have you here!
