(CSP) Awards
The California Staffing Professionals recently held their Annual
Staffing & Recruiting Conference at the beautiful JW Marriott
Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, CA. The successful conference

Staffing Inc., was recently featured in the Minneapolis/St.
Paul Business Journal. She was recognized for over two decades

Congratulations
to Cindy Hlavka from all of us at eEmpACT!
Cindy takes pride in making sure the quality of work she delivers
is absolutely accurate, which is why she's a perfect fit for our
Accounting Department!
Recently Cindy had to handle a very complex situation with a
business vendor. Communication via email and phone took a long time
to resolve, but ultimately, Cindy was able to get the situation
taken care of and stayed on track to meet her deadline. And she did
all of this while performing her usual job function and training a
new team member!

of this timely topic since we're approaching "storm
season". One of your precious assets is your daily backups of
your software; not only from day-to-day disasters, but natural ones
as well. We've helped customers recover their business from floods,
hurricanes, fires and more--the stories we could tell you from
Hurricane Ike! Have peace of mind about your business by making
sure you either have a consistent backup process or talk to your
Account Manager about other alternatives for offsite data backup
and storage via online resources.
Tidbits of info involving natural disasters:
- According to
PalmBeachPost.com, hurricane is the Caribbean Indian word for
"evil spirit and big wind". It's believed to come
from the Carib Indians of the West Indies. Historians believe
the Carib word huracan was probably derived from the Mayan
storm god, Hunraken or the Quiche god of thunder and
lightning, Hurakan.
- There are, on
average, 10 serious tropical storms and hurricanes occurring
in the North Atlantic annually.
- During the Katrina
disaster, only 2 of 16 customers we contacted didn't take us
up on our offer of backup services.
